On October 18th, 2026, the completion ceremony of the Qing Shan Yan Tian Hou Temple was held in Kuching. Consul General H.E. Mr. Xing Weiping, Deputy Premier & Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Sarawak Datuk Amar Prof. Dr. Sim Kui Hian, Deputy Minister for Energy and Environmental Sustainable Datuk Dr. Haji Hazland Abang Hipni, President of the Kuching Hockien Association Dato Sri Richard Wee as well as over 100 people from various sectors were also present.
