On April 13th, 2026, Consul General Mr. Xing Weiping paid a courtesy call to the Yang di-Pertua Negeri of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, along with his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi. The two sides exchanged views on exchanges and cooperation between China and Malaysia (Sarawak) in multiple fields such as digital economy, renewable energy, artificial intelligence(AI), green economy, agriculture, etc.
